Save Time With Keyboard Shortcuts
 
Tip for all versions of Windows and Microsoft Office
 
Everyone is familiar with the CTRL+ALT+DELETE key combination used to restart your computer.  Using the following keyboard shortcuts will save time and increase your productivity.  For all key combinations, such as CTRL+C, hold down all they keys at the same time.
 
CTRL-C to copy
CTRL+V to paste
CTRL+X to cut
CTRL+Z to undo any action
CTRL+A to select all
CTRL+B to bold (CTRL+B again to un-bold)
CTRL+I to italicize (CTRL+I again to un-italicize)
CTRL+U to underline (CTRL+U again to un-underline)
CTRL+P to print
CTRL+S to save
Double-click on a word to select the entire word
HOME key to move the cursor to the beginning of a row.
SHIFT+END to select the entire row
CTRL+HOME to move to beginning of an entire document.
CTRL+SHIFT+END to select everything to end of document
 WINDOWS LOGO (between CTRL and ALT) - Hit this key to display the Start menu
 WINDOWS LOGO+F to display the Search window
F1 is will display help in both Windows itself and in Windows applications
F2 in Windows Explorer will allow you to rename the selected file or folder
SHIFT+DELETE deletes an item immediately without placing it in the Recycle Bin
F5 refreshes the screen in Explorer and many Windows applications.
